About us

 

Thorverton Pre-school is situated in the village of Thorverton in a pretty rural setting, yet only 8 miles from both Exeter and Tiverton.

We are based on the same site as Thorverton Primary School and have well-established close links with the pupils and staff of the school. We have a brand new purpose-built building, completed in June 2011, which is a fantastic playing and learning space for the children. We also share an outdoor play area with the school children in Class 1, which can be used in all weathers.

We are a registered charity and are run by a dedicated and pro-active parent committee who, along with the pre-school staff, ensure the continued growth and development of the pre-school through fundraising and day to day support.

Opening Times

We are open on the following days:

Monday        9.00am - 3.15pm (Morning 09.00am - 11.45am / Lunch Club 11.45am - 12.45pm / Afternoon 12.45pm - 3.15pm)
Tuesday       9.00am - 12.45pm (Morning 09.00am - 11.45am / Lunch Club 11.45am - 12.45pm)
Wednesday  9.00am - 12.45pm (Morning 09.00am - 11.45am / Lunch Club 11.45am - 12.45pm)
Thursday     9.00am - 3.15pm (Morning 09.00am - 11.45am / Lunch Club 11.45am - 12.45pm / Afternoon 12.45pm - 3.15pm)

Other Hours:
Friday         School transistion group: 1.00pm - 3.30pm

From 2 1/2 years - 5 years

Costs

£3.60 Per hour (unfunded)
£9.00 Per session (unfunded)

Funding: Early Years Entitlement can be used for 3 and 4 year olds, including to cover lunch club if required
