Educational opportunities begin at Thorverton Pre School
which is based within a wonderful purpose built building attached to and
enjoying a close working relationship with Thorverton Primary School.

There is a large, shared outdoor space, providing
opportunities for exploration and learning in addition to a carefully
considered  and  equipt indoor learning space. Children begin their
inquisitive learning journey here and for those remaining at Thorverton, the
transition to school is greatly enhanced by our proximity and links with the
school.

The Pre School is a Registered Charity run by a Pro-active
Parent committee who support the dedicated staff team. We receive Early Years funding
for 3-4 year olds from Devon County Council and are in the process of
registering for 2gether funding for disadvantaged  2-3 year olds.
